Service & Installation Terms

This page provides the long-form terms specific to pool construction, maintenance and seasonal bookings, supplementing the general Terms of Use.

1. Registration & property access

Before work begins, you provide accurate information about the property, including existing structures, buried utilities and gate or fence access. Sunmeadow Pools Ltd. is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete access information.

2. Written estimate

Every construction or maintenance engagement starts with a written estimate reflecting the site assessment. Verbal figures discussed before the assessment are starting ranges only, not binding quotes.

3. Deposit

Construction bookings require a deposit confirmed in your written quote, applied toward the total project cost. Maintenance and seasonal bookings may require a deposit for first-time clients; returning clients are typically invoiced per visit.

4. Scheduling & access during works

Scheduling is confirmed once the deposit is received. You agree to provide safe, continuous access to the work area for the duration of the booked work. Repeated access issues may result in rescheduling fees.

5. Equipment pickup & delivery

Materials and equipment are delivered to site by our crew as part of the booked service; nothing is sold as a standalone retail product through this site.

6. Damage during works

We take reasonable care of existing landscaping and structures. Any incidental damage is documented and discussed with you promptly; responsibility is assessed per the circumstances and, where applicable, covered by our business insurance.

7. Studio / workshop note

Equipment servicing that cannot be completed on-site may be brought to our workshop for repair; you will be notified in advance and the item returned once work is complete.

8. Changes to scope

If conditions uncovered during work require a change in scope (for example unexpected soil conditions), we pause, explain the issue, and provide a revised estimate before proceeding.

9. Applicable law

These service terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, consistent with our general Terms of Use.

10. Changes to this page

We may revise these terms periodically; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
