Cancellation & Refund Policy

This page gives the full detail behind the summary sections in our Terms of Use, covering how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work across our services.

1. Consultations

Design consultation deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least two business days before the scheduled visit. Cancellations with less notice forfeit the deposit, as the time slot could not be reassigned.

2. Construction bookings

Cancelling before excavation begins returns your deposit minus any costs already committed for materials specific to your project. Once excavation has started, remaining payment covers work completed and materials used; any unused deposit balance is refunded within 5–10 business days.

3. Maintenance & seasonal bookings

Individual maintenance or seasonal visits can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice may incur a call-out fee reflecting crew time already allocated, disclosed in your booking confirmation.

4. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email [email protected] or call +1 613-836-2947 during Monday – Friday, 08:00–17:00, with your name and booking date. We confirm receipt within one business day.

5. Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

6. Cancellations initiated by us

If weather, permitting delays, or crew availability force us to cancel a scheduled visit or build phase, you receive a full refund of any affected deposit or the option to rebook at the next available date — your choice.

7. Non-refundable items

Materials already ordered specifically for your project and labour for work already performed are not refundable once underway.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
