About Sunmeadow Pools
A pool design, build and maintenance company based in Ottawa, ON K2L 1V3.
Who we are
Sunmeadow Pools, operating as Sunmeadow Pools Ltd., works on residential pools across Ottawa and the surrounding K2L area. We started as a small construction crew and added maintenance and seasonal service once clients asked us to look after what we'd already built — most of our ongoing maintenance clients today are properties we poured or lined ourselves.
We keep the business focused on one region rather than expanding broadly, so crews know the local soil, the municipal permit process and the realistic weather windows for opening and closing a pool each year.
Most new clients come to us through a referral from a past project or a conversation with a neighbour whose pool we built or maintain, which is part of why we keep the service area tight — reputation travels faster in a focused region than a wide one.
What we do
Our work spans three connected stages: planning and building a pool, maintaining it through the swim season, and handling the seasonal opening and closing that Ottawa's climate requires. Clients can start at any stage — a new build, a maintenance takeover, or just seasonal visits.
Where we are
Sunmeadow Pools is based at 558 Hazeldean Road, Ottawa, ON K2L 1V3, and our crews work throughout Ottawa and the surrounding K2L area. We generally keep projects within comfortable travel distance of our base so response times stay short for both build and maintenance clients.
If you're outside that comfortable radius, send us the property address before booking a consultation — we'll confirm whether the site fits our regular schedule or whether travel time changes the estimate.
Visit or contact us →Who provides the services
Every project has a few hands on it, each responsible for a different part of the work — the people you'll actually talk to and see on-site, not a call centre reading from a script.
Project coordinator
Manages client communication and schedule from first contact through handover.
Construction lead
Oversees excavation, shell installation and equipment commissioning on-site.
Maintenance technician
Carries out scheduled water testing, balancing and equipment checks.
Seasonal crew
Handles the timing-sensitive work of spring opening and fall closing.
How we work
These three habits show up on every job, big or small, and they're the reason clients who started with a single consultation often end up staying on for years of seasonal maintenance.
Approach
We start from the property, not a fixed package, and adjust the plan to the site.
Quality checks
Each build stage is inspected before the next begins; maintenance visits log readings for the record.
Communication
One coordinator stays attached to a property, so updates come from someone who knows the project.
